Brandon residents will have that opportunity this weekend when the Humane Society of Tampa Bay brings adoptable dogs to Brandon for a PetSmart Charities Adopt Joy event.
The adoption event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, from 2 to 5 p.m. at PetSmart, 1051 W. Brandon Blvd.
Representatives from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay will be on-site with dogs currently looking for homes.
For people who have been considering adding a dog to the family, the event provides an opportunity to meet some of the animals face-to-face and learn more about them before deciding whether adoption is the right choice. More Than Just Picking a Dog
