Fall may still feel a little more like summer in Brandon, but one local tradition is already getting ready to welcome the season.

The Brandon Sunday Market will hold its Fall Kick-Off Market on Sunday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at La Viva Plaza, 788 W. Lumsden Road in Brandon. Admission is free.

For residents looking for something close to home, the event offers a chance to spend a Sunday browsing local vendors, grabbing something to eat and supporting small businesses from around the Brandon area.

A Brandon Tradition Now in Its 10th Year

The Brandon Sunday Market isn't a newcomer.

According to the market, 2026 marks its 10th year serving the Tampa Bay community and providing a place for artists, craftspeople and other vendors to sell directly to local shoppers. The market says its events typically accommodate roughly 60 to 100 vendors.

The market is now organized by Robert and Debra Ries, owners of Oh So Rustic, the home-goods store located at the market site. Recent local coverage describes the market as bringing together artisans, small businesses and families while emphasizing handmade goods and community connections.
